Unemployment is a worldwide curse. It is recognized as the mother of courtliness ills. It encourages dishonesty, corruption and falsehood. It develops dark side of human character. There are different causes of unemployment like poverty, over population, in-effective education system and industrial development. Similarly there are various steps to check this giant problem. No doubt the government is fully aware of this problem but the quick remedies are needed to check this problem. There are five causes of unemployment. First of all, Poverty is the main cause of this evil. Broadly speaking it is difficult to expect truth, nobility and honesty from a person who cannot have two square meals a day. He loses sense of self-dignity as he has no sense of security. He is worried about his survival rather than morality. Therefore, poverty is a great danger to the state. The rapid growth of population is another cause of unemployment. Along with the growing population this problem has also developed. It demand s a quick check. Unemployed people are always dangerous to the security of the country. Our education system is also defective. It produces a large number of students who are taught purely literary of theoretical education. There is hardly any provision of technical or vocational education. This drawback makes the students dislike the manual work. Therefore, majority rushes to the cities and increases unemployment. Lack of interest in industrialization is also a cause of unemployment. Industrial units provide employment to both educated and uneducated people. Therefore, we should encourage industrialization. Our social system is another cause of unemployment. In our society many depend upon few. It has been observed that majority of...

Science 1 in the Early Years
Assessment: Item 1- Views of teaching and promoting science of young learners
The pedagogy of play can be hard to understand and part of the reason for this is it’s so difficult to explain how children learn by play because play isn’t simply; it is complex. Each child begins their early childhood education with a set of skills and prior knowledge that is influenced by their family, culture and past experiences (Fellows &Oakley, 2010). The past knowledge should become the foundation for developing an understanding of scientific concepts (Duschl, Schweingruber & Shouse, 2007). Children are naturally inquisitive, creative and aware of the world around them (Campbell & Jobling, 2012). Play is an important development tool and an effective way to teach children scientific concepts while using their prior knowledge (Preston, Mules, Baker & Frost, 2007). Learning science through play shows children that science is useful and enjoyable and is a significant aspect of the real world (Bulunuz, 2013). This essay will review teaching science through play, theorists who support play and the way in which the Australian curriculum and EYLF support play pedagogy.
Science and Play
Play pedagogy is a context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they engage actively with people, objects and representations....
...In Hong Kong, gifted education was not placed as an education policy until the release of Education Commission Report No. 4 in 1990, which addressed serious inadequacies in gifted education for Hong Kongs most bright and talented students (Education Commission Report No. 4, 1990). In 1995, Fung Hon Chu Gifted Education Centre was established for promoting and supporting gifted students, parents and teachers. IS EDUCATION REALLY IMPORTANT? |
Edgar O. Edwards and Michael P. Todaro argue that it is not useful to have post-literacy education in developing countries, since the number of unemployed has been rising as the number of the educated. |
1. In your own opinions, suggest how you can manipulate the supply of educational opportunities as a policy variable.
2. Suggest policy considerations for the government in respect to educational expansions.
3. State the implications for international donor agencies.
Edgar Edwards and Michael Todaro argue that an investment in education past the literacy stage is an investment in idle resources. They have some good and bad arguments and below, I am going to critique their arguments critiquing their points with the help of facts, statistics and logical reason. Their main argument is that an investment in education is an investment in idle resources, since the number of unemployed has been rising as the number of people who pursue post-literacy education.
The two writers have both good and not so good points in their argument against post-literacy education.
Firstly, by saying that “the average level of education among the unemployed and underemployed appears to be rising, suggesting that the growing investment in educational systems is increasing an investment...
...When it comes to children, any loving parent wants to be sure that they are making wise choices and doing what is best for their kids. Education is one of those important choices that effects humans daily and shouldn’t be taken lightly. One option to consider is homeschooling. Research shows that homeschooling is an effective method of education because the student usually excels academically, they have a more individualized curriculum, and homeschooling leaves room for flexible time managing.
On more than one occasion, statistics show that students who are homeschooled tend to score above grade level. The Homeschool Progress Report 2009: Academic achievement and demographic, shows results of homeschoolers, on average, scoring 37 percentile points higher than public school students on standardized achievement tests (1). Some people may argue however, that these results can differ depending on the family’s background, income, and certification to teach but The Homeschool Progress Report 2009 statistic’s proves quite the opposite. Even with all these variations taken into consideration when conducting the survey, homeschooled children still scored 34–39 percentile points above public school children on standardized achievement tests (1).
In addition to these statistics, Colleges are noticing homeschooled student’s academic success. Meirowitz states on The Great Neck Accredited Homeschool Programs website that “Some colleges...

Employment is the prime means for people to earn money, allowing them to provide the basic necessities, such as food, water, clothing, and shelter for themselves as well as their family members. Since employment is so important to our society, the increasing rate of people loosing their jobs is becoming a serious problem. The loss of a job can cause individuals to loose important possessions, such as, their home, car, etc.. It will also affect their lifestyle, having to manage their money more cautiously. Over time, the loss of a job can lead one to many physical, social, and mental health problems, or may also induce people to take part in illegal actions to fund the money they need to support their families.
