Without an education people still can live happily and success in their life. People have to know the true meaning of education. Education is different from being literate. Education is something divine and it is linked to survival. What education do you think that ants have? Still, they are disciplined. People always have the urge to survive, and the curiosity to learn. Without school there are still many outlets of information and media, no one can hide from learning if they are in any social situations. Even by yourself in a cave over time you will find easier ways to build fires and better ways to make clothes or draw on the walls. Life is education. Everything you are and do is from some learned experience you had. People for thousands of years survived only by the experiences they had. Today we must live on our experiences during our lives and we can survive with no other education. Some of the most successful people in the world started from scratch. Some didn't even get the chance to have a decent education. But still, they managed to become tigers and titans in businesses. Believing that a piece of paper will get you somewhere and letting other people decide on what you want is really a no go. Paper is something, but the experience, hard work and useful knowledge gained is far more important. In fact, the vast majority of people are not working in the same field as they went to school for. Responsibilities are more important than an investment in an education. Sometimes, more often than not, you will have no responsibilities if you stay in the groove and on an education path. Time affects a successful life. Stay in the groove with your time before it’s too late. Time is not as flexible as you think when you get older. If you are not in the “groove” of a timely education, you will sink in a hole of the inability to go to school and will end up competing with your hard earned skills. Those hard earned skills will not reward you on the same level as an...
...Why College Education is Important to Me
“In the past when a majority of persons never attended school past the primary level, a college education meant very little”, concluded most of the elders interviewed. This was mainly because persons were able to care for themselves and their families without attaining a college education. Not only were most persons involved with handy work which was learnt from demonstration and experience, but also, in farming, especially subsistence farming which was a very popular way in which the family was fed. Employers of these days had very little interest in academic achievement and more interest was placed on the experience of an individual. As close back as 2010, more than 50% of employers were more likely to hire persons based their experiences rather than persons with qualifications (Woods, 2010). However, in today’s world a college education is important. All of the trades that were learnt through demonstration and experience are now being taught in schools for which qualifications are awarded. As a result, employers are no longer willing to hire persons without qualifications for the job. Adding to this, with every new calendar employers plan to higher even more college graduates than before (Staffing Industry Analysts, 2013). Qualification papers such as what is awarded from college has made it very demanding on us human beings to ensure that we...

Why is college important to me?
I often dream about becoming a successful business owner of my own restaurant “T. C’s Jamaican Restaurant, but to attain this goal I must acquire a college education that teaches me how to become the best manager in that industry.
Education is important to me because coming from a family of 8 in Jamaica, I was the only one who went to college and for my brothers and sisters to see that I could reach my goal in life sets a higher standard for them.
Another reason it is important is it opens my eyes to see a better future and quality of life for those around me. Seeing that I can help my family in Jamaica, especially my mom out of poverty and not be ashamed of where we lived anymore. My mom was my motivation in life to become the person that I am right now, and to see that I have exceeded that and more, motivates me to push even harder.
I hope that I have motivated my daughter to do that same to go after her dreams and never give up like how my mother did for me.
A college education helped me to gain the knowledge of the world around me, it showed me how to live a better life and how to become a mature adult who looks and plans towards the future. How to get things done the correct way by following the correct procedures and policies in everything. In Jamaica and in the United States the laws are totally different, so with me attaining my studies in the...

Science 1 in the Early Years
Assessment: Item 1- Views of teaching and promoting science of young learners
The pedagogy of play can be hard to understand and part of the reason for this is it’s so difficult to explain how children learn by play because play isn’t simply; it is complex. Each child begins their early childhood education with a set of skills and prior knowledge that is influenced by their family, culture and past experiences (Fellows &Oakley, 2010). The past knowledge should become the foundation for developing an understanding of scientific concepts (Duschl, Schweingruber & Shouse, 2007). Children are naturally inquisitive, creative and aware of the world around them (Campbell & Jobling, 2012). Play is an important development tool and an effective way to teach children scientific concepts while using their prior knowledge (Preston, Mules, Baker & Frost, 2007). Learning science through play shows children that science is useful and enjoyable and is a significant aspect of the real world (Bulunuz, 2013). This essay will review teaching science through play, theorists who support play and the way in which the Australian curriculum and EYLF support play pedagogy.
Science and Play
Play pedagogy is a context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they engage actively with people, objects and representations....
...Importance Of TertiaryEducation
For many individual students preparing to graduate from high school, wondering whether or not they should pursue a higher education at a university or other learning institute is an issue that weighs heavily on their minds. It is a very difficult decision that depends on many different factors, such as the individual’s personal goals. Some students choose to go straight from high school directly into the workforce after graduating. Other students choose to go into the military after graduating from high school. While these are all different options, recent research indicates that higher education is extremely valuable.
Recent research indicates that higher education is extremely valuable. For, individuals whom attended a university and obtained at least a four-year bachelor’s degree make more money on average than people who have never obtained a university degree according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics. In a study conducted by the United States Bureau of Labor conducted in 2009, it was concluded that someone with a four-year bachelor’s degree makes on average $20,748 more per year than someone without the degree. In a report done by the United States Census Bureau published in the “Current Population Report” by ?Jennifer Cheeseman Day and? Eric C. Newburger, it is estimated that high school graduates earn on average $1.2 million throughout the...

Libraries are useful resources for adult learners.
Adult education is the practice of teaching and educating adults. Adult education takes place in the workplace, through "extension" school (e.g. Harvard Extension) or "school of continuing education" (Columbia School of Continuing Education). Other learning places include community colleges, folk high schools, colleges and universities, libraries, and lifelong learning centers. The practice is also often referred to as "Training and Development" and is often associated with workforce or professional development. It has also been referred to as andragogy (to distinguish it from pedagogy). Adult education is different from vocational education, which is mostly workplace-based for skill improvement; and also from...
...An important question regarding people today, from the ages of 9 to 90 is why is physical educationimportant? Physical education is important for a number of reasons, one of the biggest reasons being that if someone is physical fit and participates in physical activity daily, the chances are, their going to live a longer, healthier life than one who is not physical fit and does not participate in physical activity on a daily basis. Another big reason is physical education and athletics help define a person and shape them and people can learn a lot about themselves by participating in activities, such as how well they handle situations, anger problems, and maturity. These reasons, among several other reasons which will be covered is why physical education is important and should be essential to everyone's life.
First of all, physical education is an educational process that uses physical activity as a means to help people acquire skills, fitness, knowledge and attitudes that contribute to their optimal development and well-being. Physical education should be introduced to children from the time their communication skills with the parents develops, although most children don't experience what physical education is until they enter school, with which physical education is being taught in school. It's...
