Here we go again! The drinking is non-stoppable with Jennifer Jenkins. Miss Jenkins would drink till she falls asleep. It’s a constant thing with her. I just can’t wait till she actually learns her lesson. She has completely ruined this relationship with all the drinking. What am I supposed to do? Every time I try talking to her, we end up fighting and then she drinks even more. I’ve gotten to the point, where I’m taking matters into my own hands and drugging her up to teach her that lesson. “Good morning, I see you’ve started drinking already. It’s so early though.” “Well what do you expect, I’m stressed.”
“Okay, well I made breakfast and homemade orange juice for you. Eat up and enjoy your meal, I’m going to take a shower and get ready for my walk with Buffy today. Remember to drink up, I made that orange juice with extra love this morning.” After about an hour, I had finished getting dressed and was about to head out when I noticed Miss Jenkins on the floor. I realized my plan had worked I don’t want to go to jail for this. I don’t want to be blamed for this. I must hurry up and make it seem like a suicide attempt. Wait, people won’t believe she tried killing herself, what if I say she fell off her commode and blame someone else. I picked Miss Jenkins up from the floor and laid her on the couch, I put some clothes on her because she enjoyed sleeping half naked. I took the beer she had opened and grabbed the half empty bottle of sleeping pills and placed them on the table right next to Miss Jenkins. I grabbed Buffy’s rhinestone leash and headed out with my precious Lhasa apso dog. As soon as I was walking out the building, I saw the doorman and remembered I had to tell him about Miss Jenkins. “Doorman. I need you to run upstairs to my apartment and call a doctor.” “Why? What’s the matter?” he said.
“Miss Jenkins fell off her commode and is in serious pain....
...Primarily speaking, the necessity of death penalty has been the prolonged clamour of victims' immediate family and relatives of these predators who demoralize and disrespect the life of their preys. A plea for justice has always been the battle cry of these innocent victims who impatiently wait the verdict of this bureaucratic delayed justice system. Moreover, some of these convicts are generally given life imprisonment which in the long run can be granted with parole; years after repayment, vengeance is once sought after by these criminals. Though this humane world has been able to give a glimmer of hope for these prodigal sons to repent for the acts committed, the financial backwash should also be taken into consideration. The need to construct more prisons and jails is growing in leaps and bounds and the hungry stomachs of these people have long been siphoning our economic budget. On the long run, the taxes we pay are feeding these lackadaisical convicts more than the benefits we accumulate
For what we pay.
The first established death penalty laws date back to the Eighteenth Century B.C. in the Code of King Hammurabi of Babylon, which codified the death penalty for 25 different crimes. The death penalty was also part of the Fourteenth Century B.C.'s Hittite Code; in the Seventh Century B.C.'s Draconian Code of Athens, which made death the only punishment for all crimes; and in the Fifth Century...
...Scientific Sex Research by Dr. Kinsey
According to evolutionary theory, the fundamental goal for creature is the reproduction of its species. Sexual activity is the only natural way to reproduce next generations in all animal and also human. Different from wild animal, we are protected by an educated and law restricted society, in which we should behave morally and legally correct. Then, how to define the proper sexual activity, because of its relation to family and the life of everybody, is critical to our society. In old times, people established plenty of rules to educate young people what was the proper sexual activity. At mean time, to prevent people having morally incorrect sex activities, people also established some rumors such as masturbation would lead to severe disease and punishment. In this way, everyone’s sexuality is restricted to be the same and people are shamed about talk about sexuality. However, things have changed after Alfred Kinsey, whose story has come to public as a movie Kinsey.
The movie Kinsey describes the life and research of Alfred Kinsey, the first scientist studying the sexual behavior in human race. As a biologist, when he had some problems about sexual activity, he went to the experts for advice. He was brave and brilliant in which stage people are shamed of talking about sex publicly. The young people’s misunderstanding to sex inherited from their parents and the...
...birds and bees which is an eye opener for many adolescents, because of the misconceptions that is clears up about the word-that-must-not-be-said “sex”. Coming from a Middle Eastern background, the topic of sex was very taboo and was not openly talked about, especially with my parents. The lack of explanation and clarification of what this word really meant caused me to start picking up broken pieces of information from friends, school, and the media. In the schoolyard having two fifth grade kids talking about what they think sex was, is like the blind leading the blind. Growing up I had many bizarre understandings of what sex consisted of and what would happen after two individuals would have sex. The three most impacting misconceptions that I have had were where babies come from, what women wanted in a sexual relationship, and safe methods of practicing sex.
In the fourth grade I was on the swings during recess having an enlightening conversation about where babies came from with one of my good friends. This was the first discussion I had ever had relating to sex, and being the convincing sales man that Cody was, he had brainwashed me into thinking that women get pregnant by men peeing on their belly buttons. Then the baby explodes out of the belly button when women give birth. This was the first misconception that I had about sex and it was the one that...

To understand the complexity of the subject matter we have to look on a number...

...How is Death of a Salesman a commentary upon American society and values.
Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman is a commentary upon society in relation to the painful conflicts of a working class family in New York, who throughout their life has struggled to make a decent living and fulfil the American dream. The play illustrates its critical commentary on American society through Willy’s obsession with the Dream, depiction of women and the disrespect towards the “elderly.”
The main theme in Death of a salesman is without a doubt the American dream. This dream has been the basis of Willy’s life, and he has a fundamental belief in it, that almost reach religious proportions. He has passed this trust in the American dream onto his two sons, which has a dramatic consequences for them both. Willy Loman's longing to achieve his ideal dream in turn, controlled his life and ruined his family. The character Willy portrays a large piece of society. This being illustrated through the protagonist stating “America is full of beautiful towns and fine, upstanding people.. The finest people.” The repetition of “finest” emphasizes the utter idolization of Willy’s depiction of Americans. Willy's characterization of the American people as kind to anyone who is personally attractive demonstrates his utter faith in his twisted version of the American Dream. The quote emphasizes the commentary of the critical portrayal of society of those who...
...Effect: The Death Penalty
The cause of the death penalty more often then not is politically inspired. Fear has long been a favored method for controlling the population. In the case of the execution of those found guilty of murder in developed countries such as The USA, where the motivation is simply political. More votes are gained by appealing to the sense of justice exhibited in the lower educated classes than are to be gained by appealing to those that are more educated and trained in the exercise of reasoning. It is one of the failings of democracy. The effect of the death penalty is that if a person is a murderer he or she has nothing to lose by killing to cover their crime. No murderer commits a crime and intends to do the time.
The death penalty remains as one of the controversial issues not only in the United States but in the whole world as well. The death penalty has articulated itself as a debate characterized by rhetoric of pro death penalty ideals and con death penalty assertions. It should be noted that the debate on death penalty is not new in the world considering that death penalty has been used as a method of punishing criminals since time immemorial, although it may have gained momentum in the 20th century with enactment of human rights charter. For example, records on death penalty shows that the first man...
