Text Preview Patience In Islam

Patience in Islam is one of the best and most valuable virtues of life, it's part of being a good muslim. Being patient alone is not the only thing, you should be patient while being calm and not complaining and being thankful to Allah. You must be thankful in different ways such as being around non-Muslims, being afflicted with tragedy in your life, and much more. Allah does love patience. Patience is one of the qualities that makes Islam very unique and special for other religions in Islam.

Allah gives us many examples of having patience. The Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him) is the best example. Even though he never had much of a family, was abused, never even had a full stomach,he never complained and was always thankful. All of his children died in his lifetime except Fatima. Whoever followed him was tortured. Yet he still in prayed all night with a smile and never hesitated to help people. Another example is of prophet Ayoob, Allah afflicted him with many problems such as his family getting crushed when the ceiling of his house fell, when he got robbed and his wealth and cattle were gone, and when he got a very bad disease. Even after all these tragedies he never complained and remained patient and thankful to Allah. At the very end Allah gave him water to bath in which cured the disease and Allah rewarded him with gold locust that fell into the water. These examples are very interesting and amazing things that actually happened to many prophets

Allah says in the Quran many times on how patient is important and how u should be patient as it will be good for you. Patience is so important in islam that Allah mentioned it ninety times in the Quran. These are a few that he mentioned. These verses prove how patience is a big part of Islam and faith.

Allah says in the Quran :
و اصبروا إن الله مع الصابرين
“…and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” [al-Anfal 8:46].

واستعينوا بالصبر والصلاة
“And seek assistance through patience and prayer…” [al-Baqarah 2:45].

يا أيها الذين آمنوا اصبروا وصابروا ورابطوا واتقوا الله لعلكم تفلحون O you who believe, Patience In Islam
