The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamic religious and political organization dedicated to the establishment of a nation based on Islamic principles. Founded by Hassan Al-Banna in 1928, it is the most influential Islamic organization in the world. The muslim brotherhood through it's actions and words, has proven that it is a very anti-american group, wants to completely change our way of life, and resents the beliefs of the United States.
On September 11, 2012, the United States Embassies in Tunisia, Yemen, and Sudan were flooded by Muslim protesters. The muslim brotherhood was a very large part in the plan and attack, showing their anti-american side. President Obama has made many statements about how the muslim brotherhood was not apart of this plot and how it all started over an insulting film. Yet, the film came out the same day the protests started and it is highly unlikely that the muslim protesters were carrying hand grenades and anti-american signs in their back packets. This was a planned assault against the Americans which the muslim brotherhood was apart of. On twitter the muslim brotherhood tweeted this in Arabic: “Egyptians rise to defend the prophet.” Yet in english they tweeted this: “We r relieved none of @USEmbassyCairo staff were harmed & hope US-Eg relations will sustain turbulence of Tuesday’s events” The Unites States later responded by tweeting: “Thanks. By the way, have you checked out your own Arabic feeds? I hope you know we read those too.” Even the United States can see how the muslim brotherhood is two-faced and yet for some reason they want to pursue diplomacy with them? Why would we want to pursue diplomacy with people who are anti-american and oppose all of our beliefs?
The muslim brotherhood believe that the Islamic nation or muslims are the “masters of the world”. They truly and full heartedly believe that their race is superior to all others and that if you do not believe in their ways then you must die. The United States is...
...The Rise of the MuslimBrotherhood
The MuslimBrotherhood is the largest Islamist organization in Egypt. It was founded in the 1920s by Hassan Al-Banna. The movement was a model of political activism combined with Islamic charity work. At first, it only aimed to spread Islamic morals, but soon became involved in politics. While the MuslimBrotherhood claims that it supports democratic principles, it aims to create a state ruled by Al Shariaa. Al Shariaa is the Islamic law stated in the Quran. The Brotherhood's mostly used slogan is "Islam is the solution", and it is known worldwide. It officially opposes violence to achieve goals; however, some of the movement's members were involved in massacres, bombings and assassinations of political opponents. In 1954, the movement was blamed and banned after trying to assassinate President Gamal Abdul Nasser. In the 1980s, they attempted to rejoin the political mainstream. It lead public opposition to the National Democratic Party of President Hosni Mubarak ("Profile: Egypt's MuslimBrotherhood"). The movement had different positions through the years. The Muslim Brotherhood's position has radically changed and this has political, social and economic implications for Egypt.
It is impossible to completely understand the importance of the Muslim Brotherhood's position today without denoting...

...such evil tactics as the roadside bomb, suicide attacks, and rocket attacks. Many other terrorists groups revert to the Hezbollah style of combat. The Hezbollah style of combat is not only effective but it is great for a surprise attacks. As seen with the September 11 attacks and many other terrorist attacks that have happened since the attack of September 11 the death toll has increased 11,800 people.
Considered to be one of the older organizations of terror the Hamas were founded in the 1950’s. The Hamas was a branch organization of the Islamic Brotherhood. The Islamic Brotherhood was founded to support and nurture fellow Muslims of the Gaza Strip. The most surprising is that the Hamas were the least experienced when it entered conflict. The Hamas were up against other...
In James Baldwin’s “Sonny’s Blues,” the unspoken brotherly bond between the narrator and his younger brother Sonny is demonstrated through the narrator’s point of view. The two brothers have not spoken in years until the narrator receives a letter from Sonny after his daughter dies. He takes this moment as an important sign from Sonny, feeling the need to respond. While both Sonny and the narrator live in separate worlds, all Sonny needs is a brother to care for him while the narrator finds himself in the past eventually learning his role as an older brother.
When the narrator and Sonny finally get a chance to speak to each other after many years, they begin to slowly open up to each other the grim reality that they face. "I realized, with this mocking look, that there stood between us, forever, beyond the power of time of forgiveness, the fact that I had held silence-- so long!-- when he had needed human speech to help him. (pg 66). The narrator realizes that it was his responsibility to be there for his younger brother for all the years, that Sonny needed him. He doesn’t know if Sonny will be able to forgive him. Although the narrator is there for his brother now, he realizes he could have been an influence to him for his entire life, instead of letting him get so messed up.
The two characters come to the realization that they do share a brotherly bond, and that the narrator cares deeply for his brother even after all the time apart. The...

Informal diplomacy (sometimes called Track II diplomacy) has been used for centuries to communicate between powers. Most diplomats work to recruit figures in other nations who might be able to give informal access to a country's leadership. In some situations, such as between the United States and the People's Republic of China a large amount of diplomacy is done through semi-formal channels using interlocutors such as academic members of thinktanks. This occurs in situations where governments wish to express intentions or to suggest methods of resolving a diplomatic situation, but do not wish to express a formal position.
Track II diplomacy is a specific kind of informal diplomacy, in which non-officials (academic scholars, retired civil and military officials, public figures, social activists) engage in dialogue, with the aim of conflict resolution, or confidence-building. Sometimes...

...BrotherhoodBrotherhood cannot be walked away from. It is a lifelong relationship with who you call brothers. From my experience with brotherhood, its a promise they have between one another. Brothers stay together when they are at their best, and their worse, that’s the respect that is given and received with brothers. The difference between friendships and brotherhood's are the internal bond you have and the pure love between them. But how far will a fake brotherhood go? Pat Conroy’s, The lords of Discipline and Tim O’Brien’s, The things They Carried, and other works show how brotherhood is essential to survival in difficult situations.
When peoplee are going through a difficult situation in life, sometimes they just need someone by their side to make it through. Brotherhoods in war are more important than romantic or familial ones back home. These brotherhood’s are what keeps them going, they carry their brothers emotionally. In The Things They Carried the brothers did more for each other than support one another during the way: “ They shared the weight of memory. They took up what others could no longer bear. Often, they carried each other, the wounded or weak” (Tim O’Brien 39). CBrotherhood’s were formed because they shared ocommonproblems, that are not understandable putside the brotherhood in the war becauyse those problems become to great. These...
...Brotherhood in Islam
By Z.B. Asghar
Adapted Slightly From The Light - Volume 1 Issue 1
Loughborough Islamic Centre & LSU Islamic Society
The importance of brotherhood in Islam can not be over stressed. There are many hadiths relating to the fact the Muslims are a single united body, each part responsible for the other. Accordingly if one of the parts is injured or hurt then the rest of the body immediately feels that pain and is certainly uncomfortable at the situation until it is rectified without delay. The brotherhood of Muslims is a very deep and wide concept that guarantees the safety and well being of the Society at large. Islam being a complete way of life is primarily for the society, it promotes a healthy and a well disciplined life style in every sense of the word.
It is forbidden, for example, for two Muslims to start a whispering conversation in the presence of the third. This might offend the one left out and weaken the Brotherhood. It is not permissible for a Muslim to sever relations with his brother for more than three days.
"It is sufficient evil for a Muslim that he should look down upon his brother. The life, wealth, and honour of a Muslim are inviolable by another Muslim" [Sahih Muslim].
Brotherhood is synonynous with Islam. It is a force for good, a purveyor of...
