STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
There is an old paradigm that says,”To stay where you are, keep running”. Today I realize how true it is because unless we keep track of changes and advances being made we will be considered pariah. As I stand at the threshold of completing my under-graduate in the field of Information Technology (IT), after contemplating all the career options open to me I have decided to go for the graduate study, Masters in Management Information System (MS in MIS) that require personal commitment and individual involvement. In turn I shall get intellectual satisfaction and gratification of becoming a contributor of knowledge with research. I understand that what I choose today is something I am going to spend my entire life with. Now, on the verge of completion of my Under-Graduate studies, I realize that my present knowledge would not suffice. I feel that unless one is erudite in his field, one cannot be fully satisfied. I, Mr. Lucky Sanjay Nanwani, Being belong to a business class family, I have always been seeing my parents establishing, organizing, running and managing a business. I have also been noticing them collecting and storing various information about their customers, analyzing and processing them. I always used to wonder that how such random objects are used to discover the new knowledge. Observing my parents I developed a penchant for looking into the various random occurring things; investigating them deep; finding something out of them. Some used to call it a waste of time whereas some used to appreciate. But ever since my childhood these habits has subsequently grown within me and arose my fervor in collecting, processing, manipulating, contextualizing and managing various data. They say ‘there is no direct way to reach the zenith of any field’. One needs to understand the basics, understand the phenomena and then gradually approach the destination. The same I have been applying in my life. The interest in logical and computational...
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. I choose to major in Electronics and communication engineering with an intense urge to delve into the challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Electronics and communication engineering which together with practical course work reinforces interest.
Right from my school, I had a penchant towards Mathematics, Science and research in general. This basic interest led me to take up Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as my major subjects in high school.
In my school days, I was interested in Mathematics and Sciences. During my 8th
our science project, I had to prepare a working prototype of a dc Motor using copper wires, neodymiummagnets and a battery. After many attempts I had the motor in working condition. During this project .I unknowingly found my passion for Physics. Also i had constructed logic gates and latches using basic circuit elements. This interest made me to take Electronics and communication I would like to present my past performance as my credentials for my success in my future endeavours. My innate strength has been my quantitative and analytical abilities which instilled me a special interest for mathematical and physics. I had opted the same in my 10+2 with 82% . I was placed in the top 15% of one...
...Over-Zealous Convert Syndrome - it began to set in like a plague in my spiritual life. Whereas beforehand, I had been more or less just frustrated and intellectually prideful on my journey into the Catholic Church, I now began to be angry, uncharitable, and ultimately headed down a slippery slope.
I had started writing this blog back in 2011, and one can see the progression. Even then, I lamented the fact that the online Catholic catechesis courses I was in were advocating "centering prayer", which sparked a massive rant about the influence of the New Age on Catholic spirituality. My rants became more frequent as I encountered more and more strange things - spiritualities, events, and experiences.
I became less-and-less concerned about my relationship with Christ, and more concerned about venting over all the spiritual and liturgical problems in the Church. My spiritual life began to die. If you want to see what this period was like, read my earlier posts on this blog - though, I did take some down out of sheer embarassment at who I had become, there are a few left.
I generally kept more to my interior prayer and tried with all my might to not notice all the little things that I had not noticed before - things that indicated that there had been a force in the Church that was eating away at its insides like a horde of termites. I just hoped for a renewal, a kind of resurrection, a chance to help "rebuild the Church." Some said to me that it was a product of...
...STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The secret of mankind's success, strength, and glory is knowledge. Knowledge is not something we are born with. It is through curious observation and constant learning the wealth of knowledge is amassed. I believe that even if a Subject is miles away from the reach of our contemplation, it can be learnt much through research and experience.
I am a student in the final year of the four-year Bachelor of Engineering program in Bio-Medical Engineering at Padmasri Dr. B. V. Raju Institute of Technology (Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University), an institute of excellent reputation and was the only institution that offered Bio-Medical Engineering, the field that fascinated me when I started to think about my career. Now, being at the end of my undergraduate course, I feel that mere under graduation will not help a student to achieve all his desired goals and it is for this reason that I am applying for a masters degree in the discipline which I have chosen, which will pave the way towards achieving my goals.
SCHOOL AND COLLEGE EDUCATION: Perseverance pays is my motto. From my schooling I believe in hard work and it is that little bit of extra effort that has helped me to achieve the best in comparison to rest of the people having an equal opportunity. I have excelled in academics at every step in my education. Throughout my education quantitative and Analytical abilities have been my strengths. My...
...Masters of Business Administration – Corporate MBA
Statement of Purpose
I am applying for admission to the Corporate MBA program, as I would like to continue to develop my career in business research and teaching. I am interested in exploring factors that affect student learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness. My professional and educational backgrounds have enabled me to examine some issues related to the assessment of student learning such as academic rigor and learning styles, and their impact on student retention and persistence. Additionally, I have examined issues related to institutional effectiveness such as students’ financial background and employment, and their impact on retention. However, through my enrollment in this program, I would be given the opportunity to not only generalize these findings to the entire student population but I would also be able to examine specific student groups to determine their impact on retention and other factors related to institutional effectiveness. Research shows that regional accrediting bodies are becoming concerned about the level of development and learning that institutions are providing to students, and the major areas of concern are assessment of student learning and institutional effectiveness. In order to gain an appreciation for these and related issues, and expand my knowledge base, it is essential for me to develop a stronger foundation in research, measurement, and...

...list the point you want to cover.
- Why you want to study the course
- What you can bring to the course from your previous degree
- Work/Experience you have in addition to your degree
- Somethings about yourself not related to Accounting, a hobby, a personal achievement
- Your future aspirations
Obviously that is difficult in only 500 words. The first and second can be phrased in one sentence (positive language, non passive language). Work/Experience & Things not related a couple of sentences. Your future a short finish to end the statement.
That is a general idea. You need to fit it a little to the question. But this is the type of structure I suggest. If you are uncertain of the language to use, don't us every large cumbersome word you can find that is an instant give away. Use a mixture of language clear and direct, nothing colloquial or idiomatic.
Please give a short statement that describes your academic interests, purpose, objectives and motivation in undertaking this postgraduate study
My decision to apply for the MArch at the Edinburgh College of Art is directly linked to my intended career plans.
