In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful
The best way to fight ignorance surrounding our Messenger, Salla Allahu alayhi wasalam, is by getting to know him more, by familiarizing ourselves with who this man was. He was a man of flawless character, of a generosity like no other, a heart like no other, the best to his family, the best of husbands, the best of society, the best of friends, the best of leaders- a torch of light for the rest of humanity. He made the people who felt at the lowest of lows and made them feel significant, He came down to the level of his people. He was a living Qur’an. The more you know him, the more you love him, the more you yearn for his presence, and the more and more you want to meet him in the Hereafter. Ignorance is bliss they say, but if we seriously consider things, is it? Ignorance is created by one man and his failings to understand that individuals are inherently the same. His failings to acknowledge that people’s preferences do not label them as ‘abnormal’. Ignorance is fear of the unknown, judgement without education and false assumptions inflicted upon groups and individuals in society. Throughout history, we can trace major social and cultural conflicts back to the oblivious attitude of mankind. Acts of racism, homophobic prejudice and sexism has left entities and collections of people perpetually persecuted due to ignorance. The effects of ignorance are heavily imprinted on humanity in many aspects and are significantly noticeable. “It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.” We are the cause of ignorance and we are to blame, however through action we are capable of amendment.
Racism; hostile or oppressive behaviour towards people because they belong to a different race. An unexplained hatred and belief of superiority due to hereditary characteristics. Racism is pre-conceptions due to skin colour or appearance however mentally, physically and emotionally people of all races are the same. Biologically, there is one human race. Ignorant or racist individuals believe that anyone other than people...
... General Principles of Succession and Inheritance under Muslim Law
The Holy Quran states "Allah has purchased from the believers their persons and their wealth in lieu of Jannah." Man is a trustee of the wealth that he owns for his duration of his life. When his term of life expires, his trusteeship over his wealth and property expires. It has then to be redistributed in accordance with the directive of The Absolute Owner Allah Ta’la. Directives regarding the distribution of wealth after the demise of the provisional owner are explicitly detailed in the Holy Quran.
Inheritance Laws deals with distribution of one's wealth after he/she expires. It deals with two key issues:
1. Provide laws pertaining to distribution of wealth amongst heirs, so heirs don't fight.
2. Ensure that a just system can be established and the wealth is not accumulated into single entity.
General Inheritance Law in Islam is based on following considerations:
1. Break up the concentration of wealth and distribution of wealth in society
2. Respect right of ownership of an individual that he earned through legal means, and not allow any individual, group or government to confiscate his property after his demise.
3. Endorse and consolidate strong family system by justly distributing wealth amongst the heirs. 4. Provide peace of mind that after our demise our family will be given their just right of inheritance.
5. It pays especial focus on women's inheritance, as women were denied...

Ignorance is Not Bliss
Oedipus Rex, by Sophocles, premiered in 429 B.C.E., tackles the idea of fate, and how too great of a desire to change fate will result in the opposite of what you want to happen. I believe that this play was created to argue against the idea that your fate can be changed. I also believe that you can’t change your fate but I am convinced that you will never know your fate until after it happens. The story of Oedipus was carried orally until Sophocles, he was the first person to write the play down on paper. Sophocles didn’t really have a choice when dealing with how dramatic irony affected the audience because at that time everyone knew Oedipus's story. The entire play was bursting through the seems with dramatic irony. The overall meaning of the work as a whole is that ignorance is not bliss, ignorance can lead to bad things, and the dramatic irony within the play highlights the fact the Oedipus was ignorant.
The fact that the audience already knows what’s going to happen to Oedipus highlights, or emphasizes his ignorance. Oedipus is pretty much given all the facts and information about his situation but he still refuses to believe the truth “And if I myself should prove myself to have him in my halls an intimate,” (15). Because the audience already has knowledge of Oedipus’s story and what will happen to him, he appears obviously more ignorant...
...The Muslims were very intelligent people. They tried themselves in every which way. Muslims worked their way around many things to get to what they wanted to learn. The Muslims accomplished and contributed many things; they had many achievements such as math, art, and poetry; their contributions highly impacted the world.
The Muslims were very good at math. Al-Khwarizmi was a mathematician he studied many Indian resources and wrote an algebraic textbook in the 800’s (Document 4). This book was later translated into Latin and used all around Europe (Document 4). Muslims also developed their place-value system from the Arabic numerals coming from the Indians (Document 4). These facts justify that the Muslims achieved great standards in math. They not only made achievements in math but also art.
As well as in math they were excellent in the arts. The Muslim artists studied calligraphy as their type of art (Document 6). The artists would decorate buildings and objects in calligraphy (Document 6). They depicted on the buildings and objects to symbolize the glory of Allah (Document 6). These facts serve as proof that the Muslims had contributions towards the arts. Not only did they achieve high standards in this type of art, but also in poetry.
The Quran is the standard Arabic literature and poetry (Document 8). The Quran inspired the Sufi poets (Document 8)....
...Islamic law and non-Muslims
Some pro-Israeli opinion cite traditional interpretations of sharia (Islamic law) which requires, among other things, that Muslim territory encompass all land that was ever under Muslim control, as a source for the Arab-Israeli conflict. Since the territory of Israel, prior to being the British Mandate of Palestine, was once part of the Ottoman caliphate, some Islamic clerics believe it is unlawful for any portion of it to remain 'usurped' by non-Muslims. By contrast, pro-Arab opinion points at the pronounced religious tolerance of the caliphates, where Christians and Jews coexisted "harmoniously" with Muslims and were granted limited self-autonomy. Resentment of Israeli Jews, this argument concludes, only emerged as a result from and after the rise of the Zionist enterprise in Palestine.
Pro-Israeli views, however, often dismiss this explanation with the argument that Muslim Arab hostility towards Israel is largely derived from the sharia dictation that Jews or Christians are not to be considered equal to Muslims. Pro-Arab commentator view this as running counter to the tradition of tolerance towards "People of the Book" in Islam. They also point towards the long tradition of Palestinian Christians in their resistance to Israel and its policies, including such noted figures as Edward Said and George Habash, and the various Palestinian secular...

taking into account the tools given by Michel Foucault'll do a brief exercise in observation of Muslim culture.
Muslims are deeply rooted in the culture religion SLAM party, as in every religion has a holy book them in this particular case is the Koran, as Foucault would say the men followed a speech to the Muslim discourse to follow is the Quran This holy book gives guidelines for living day to day, how to behave, how to dress, how to choose their wives, as we live together with their spouses and other people around them.
This sacred book written by the Prophet Muhammad gives some guidelines and empowers the man is the one who has the power of decision in this cult.
Taking the man power is displayed as in this culture women have no voice or vote, marriages are arranged between families, the groom's family is negotiating with the family of the bride paying a value either in cash or in kind as agreed between the two families, women do not have the
option to fall in love or to freely choose the person with whom you marry, start to see a power relationship is the same family who chooses what is good or not a girl who is able to marry and procreate there is no way to change course on Islam established families who meet all the counsel of the prophet in the Qur'an.
And going more in the Parete marriage and Muslim women is very normal man to have more than one wife is...
This paper is being done to show the ignorance that religion causes. Religion in general causes people to believe in something that will lift them up in a time of need or help them when they need help when all people can really do is help themselves. Belief is not bad, but reliance is. There are many who use the Bible to deny scientific fact and reasonable logic. And unfortunately there are some who believe so strongly that they begin "speaking in tongues" and handling venomous snakes. Beliefs are nothing but blind theories that have no basis but the text written for them.
The Faith That Drives Us
What do you get when you mix religion with government? What you get is a big mess. The best example of this is Israel and Palestine. Israel and Palestine are in a big property dispute and their religious differences just add more fuel to the fire. Israel is the predominately Jewish nation and the Palestinians are Muslims. Their sacred holy sites are so close to each other it is hard to keep the peace when one side is trying to worship. Why do they fight? Would their God approve of it? Maybe one day their will be peace between them.
It's not just the Muslims and Jews who are fighting. Northern Ireland and Ireland have been fighting for a long time. Northern Ireland is a Catholic nation, while Ireland is predominantly Protestant. The differences in what they believe are not that big. Catholics and Protestants are both...
