India is a developing country and is on a track to be a developed country in terms of economic and financial growth. This growth can mainly be attributed to its educational wealth and system.
India is one of the most ancient civilizations in the world and as such education system in India stretches back to ancient urban centers of learning at Taxila and Nalanda which were one of the earliest universities of the world.
The present education system in India is the western education which was introduced by the British rule and soon became solidified in India as number of primary, secondary and tertiary centers of education. Today the education system in India can be divided into many stages:
• Pre-primary: It consists of children of 3-5 years of age studying in nursery, lower kindergarten and upper kindergarten.
• Primary: It includes the age group of children under 6-11 years studying in classes from first to fifth.
• Middle: It includes students studying in classes sixth to eighth.
• Secondary: It includes students studying in classes ninth to tenth.
• Higher Secondary: It includes students studying in eleventh and twelfth classes.
• Post-Graduate: After completing graduation a student may opt for post graduation to further add to its qualification.
The above education system is governed by the following governing bodies:
• The Central Board of Secondary Education. (CBSE)
• The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination. (CISCE)
• The State Government Boards.
• The National Open School.
• The International School.

Harare metropolitan province is under ministry of primary and secondary education which specialises in educating every child in Zimbabwe without considering race and or disability. The ministry is currently using a traditional way of enrolling form one pupils. This system is creating unnecessary increase in parent’s expenditure. Parents have to travel from one school to the other searching for form one places for their children.
Most of the schools even charge a non refundable 20dollars as entrance test fee per child. The ministry is now going through a phase of change from the above mentioned old system to the new system.
