The choice we make and the actions we take result in consequences we have to live with for the rest of our lives.
The decisions we make in the present will decide what the future holds for us. Today young adults are pushed to make better grades and excel in extracurricular activities so as to get into a good college. The motto "the more high quality education the better the future" has been taken as gospel for today's youth. This often makes me wonder whether our goals are contorted and out of reach for many that are working so hard to achieve in today's society. All children at a young age are told you all can go to college if you are willing. That is a down right blatant lye! The total college attendance numbers for the year 2000 don't even meet one fifth of graduating seniors in this country. Is over achieving relay worth the disappointment? The social latter is built like a pyramid, having a larger base and coming to a small point at the top. Today's youth are taught to strive for that top point in high society by working hard, making good grades, and getting in to a good college. If everyone is at the top of the pyramid, who will hold up it's structure at the bottom to support all the smart over achievers? Society always needs its garbage men, truck drivers, janitors, and delivery men. I personally take my hat off to the blue collar worker, those who work the fifty hour week at minimum wedge in order to support the top of the pyramid. Without these noble men and women our pampered society would not exist. We as a society take for granted the availability of food, clothing, gas, and comfort items which all make up a large part of our economy, and without these blue collar workers would cease to exist.
Due to this strong emphasis on over achievement in today's schools the bottom of the social latter is left lacking. This void is left open to anyone who opts to fill it. Because no pampered americans will take the lower jobs any longer many foreign...

Do wehave a choice where welive?
Where did all the displaced Jews settle after the Holocaust?
Explain what persecution and prejudice are:
Persecution is to ill-treat someone just because of their race, religion, political beliefs, gender or sexual orientation.
Prejudice is a judgement made of a person before you actually know them. The judgement is usually one of negativity and based on stereotypes.
Relate this to why and how this resulted in Jews having to leave their homes:
Persecution and prejudice are related to why Jews had to leave their homes as it was actually persecution and prejudice which resulted in them having to leave their homes. When Hitler came to power, he promoted anti-Semitism, and made the stab-in-the-back legend part of the Nazi’s official history of the 1920s. This caused persecution and prejudice against the Jews.
What was the Holocaust?
Explain what the Holocaust was and why we should learn from this event in history:
The Holocaust was the genocide of about 6 million European Jews during World War Two by the order of Adolf Hitler. We should learn from the Holocaust as to have this never have this happen again, for it was a horrific thing.
Explain why Jews prefer to refer to this event as The Shoah:
There are many definitions of holocaust English, but the main...
...directed and produced by Orson Welles, but also he is the star in this film. Citizen Kane can take the audience to a new level of understanding films with all it's depth, themes, and new proficiency in shooting films. One will never enjoy the film if has no knowledge of what the theme of Citizen Kane is about, or the significance of every setting that the films has created to reflect Citizen Kane's life at some point in his contreversial career life.
Citizen Kane was aimed to ruin William Randolph Hearst's reputation. I think that Orson Welles though alot about it before initiating a war against William Hearst and calculated it's consequences carefully, but he was WRONG!! what Welles tried to achieve is that taking Hearst out of his way so that he will become number one HollyWood icon and success is promising with greater scale. When hearst smelled the smoke of the fire that is going to burn his empire soon, he reacted solidly and tried his best to sabotage the film from doing what is meant to. Hearst tried shutting the film down, all his effort was somehow usefull in preventing Citizen Kane from destroying hearst's career. All of this turned out to be desrtuctive to Hearst and Welles. That what was called "The Battle over Citizen Kane", Charles Foster Kane was the characater of all the contreversy is all about.
Another theme that the film adresses is wealth and power. Here we will be able to see the profound acting and...
...Do We Define OurLives, or Do OurLives Define Us
Over the last decade or so people have begun to make a shift into accepting a new way of looking at the world that welive in – the belief that is making this impact is that you create your own life and, in some respects, you are in charge of your own destiny. This system of beliefs became known as the “New Age Movement”, however it's really not all that new. The “law of attraction”, as it's also known, has been around perhaps nearly as long as humans have been able to have reasonable thoughts. In fact, there's a quote from Buddha saying, “All that we are is a result of what wehave thought.” This law of attraction has only gained popularity recently because of the emergence of books like The Secret into popular culture that seemed to take the world by storm. As with anything that becomes hugely popular, it has varied from being widely accepted to being strongly criticized. There are numerous authors who have written books instructing readers how to “tap into the universe” and use the law of attraction to bring things into your life that you want. Conversely, there are just as many who criticize this new way of thinking as being lazy, selfish, and causing people to not...
...We can not live in it neither can welive without it.
Water is very important to us. Period. We will die without it, but unfortunately we also can not live with too much water. Our bodies are not designed to handle too much water. Our infrastructures also can not withhold massive amounts of water. Therefore we hope things like tsunamis, or hurricanes or typhoon or heavy snowfall or blizzard would not occur in an extreme manner.
We all know our resources are depleting and I am going to encourage you to find ways to safe water. Wehave too much water this year, that's true. At the moment, despite of too many chaotic problems happening in the Arabian countries, other countries are trying to stay alive fighting with the environment. Australia has so much water, flood upon floors. Brazil as well, also flood. Many parts of Europe are having so much snow this winter, and even in US, many states are just struggling to keep their home premises snow-free.
So why should we start to save water? and How?
Good old days.
In the good old days, people collect rain water. I remember my grandmother's garden had 3 huge vase like the picture on the right at the corner of the house where the pipes would hang out from the roof. When it rains the rainwater would flow down to...
...events and criticise or appreciate the conduct of the Government. It is through them that the public comes to know the problems that face the country. Thus they educate the public mind and enable the people to have their own opinions on matters of public importance. Newspapers keep us aware about the things going on in the world and specially the country. Moreover, newspapers increase r vocabulary and it makes us confident. They make ppl realize about the problems through the editor's column.
The uproar caused by the Prophet Mohammed caricatures has brought new light to the debate of the freedom of press that dates back to the days of the Renaissance. Nonetheless, press freedom is likely to be an inevitable feature in the society as the major role of the press in the society is to serve as informant as well as watchdog of most governments in the world. Therefore, the press should remain largely free especially in the area of publishing materials, the way of obtaining information, as well as the way of obtaining funds. However, the press can have a powerful effect on some areas of society (I changed the passive voice to active),so there should remain a certain degree of checks and balances so that the people who work for the press could be held responsible for their actions. As such, I would support this question and agree that the press should be given complete freedom within the framework of the law...
How should weliveourlives? This question is the most confusing question that many of people lost there lives trying to answer. Many philosophers, sociologists and thinkers consumed many years trying to put theories, concepts, and norms to guide others to the most efficient way to live. One thing I had discovered is that life is easier than many people think you should have to open your eyes and start to enjoy life, instead of trying to explain it. This book will not be a guide or a path for others to answer the question. It is going to be a way to help others to stop thinking about life and to start living the real life.
Before we start I would like to say that I am not going to talk through any religious point of view, and that’s does not mean that I am not believing in god, it just mean that life is not exclusively related to any religion. And no matter the differences between the religions, there will be always a way to live a happy life.
The reason for being created
First thing that every one of us, whether men or women, should consider is that there must be a reason for our creation. Some people live and die without finding out that reason. However it is crystal clear, many would be confusing with answering the question of why I am here? The answer of that question is that we are...
...WELIVE IN DEEDS,
NOT IN YEARS
“Ek din Bik jayeaga mati ke mol, jag me reh jayeage pyare tere bol”
This song I used to babble when I was baby, without paying heed to the lines as I loved its rhythm, but now I love to share the lines of this song.
God has given a unique instrument called the “life” to all living beings including animals. But he bestowed his special grace only on human being in the form of WORK. Here is a great difference between man and animals, and also a great difference between man and man. Some day you come across a man, full of high motives & aspirations, great in deeds & speech, love for the fellow man, killing sprit for work, heart full of love for the needy and sorrow people, every possible act to make a difference in their life. The next day you come across some other man, full of laziness, cursing life, complaining about the worldly miseries, and every possible thought to escape from work. Both of them leave certain impact on your mind, and sooner or later you will feel that the person with cheerful, workaholic, evangelical nature, and great in deeds and speech leave deep impression on your mind.
The analytical mind of human being is a real gem, only humans have the power to analysis, and this analytical mind analyses everything, every time, everywhere, every one. “This is good, this attitude is best; this person does better than me, this work is great paying and this is not...

Should WeLive Together?
A Review of the Literature
Cohabitation is replacing marriage as the first living together experience for young men and women. When brides walk down the aisle over half have already lived together with a boyfriend. For today's young adults, living together seems like a good way to achieve some of the benefits of marriage and avoid the risk of divorce. Couples who live together can share expenses and learn more about each other. They can find out if their partner has what it takes to be married. If things don't work out, breaking up is easy to do. Therefore, one purpose of this paper is to report on the available research. What are the pros and cons (if any) on living together before marriage?
Should WeLive Together? 3
Not surprisingly, young adults favor cohabitation. According to surveys, most young people say it is a good idea to live with a person before marrying. This generation of young adults is so eagerly aware of the weakness of marriage, it is especially important for them to know what...
