Education is everything in today's modern era. People who don't know you will have to figure out who you are and what kind of person you are by what you have done. In America it is very difficult to get any good field of work with good pay and good hours without a high school education and a college degree. To get in any job that is important like being a layer to defend someone from death penalty to opening someone's head to remove a tumor from a patient requires many years of hard works and of schooling to get in that position. I myself am aiming for the gaming business or a computer programmer field. So I will have to go to college courses to learn the skills that I will need in my field of work. If you want to even apply for a college you must have at least a high school degree to get admitted to some colleges. So its all a process one must go through. Most jobs that require skill in the US need a college degree for you to even apply for the job. All the men of the world who you have heard about have done some sort of education that have got them to that point from George Washington to Martin Luther King Jr. All of them have done some serious studying to get where they got to. George Washington was a brilliant leader and a great strategist for being a Military commander. Martin Luther made one of the most brilliant speeches and he went to school for many years to learn many different ways to express his feelings on paper. If you wish for people to respect you and to pay attention to you, you must have a education so that they will hear you out and see that you have something important to say. No mater where you go or at what time period Education is the most important tool you will have. Because education is the key.
...Reasons why Education is Important
Earlier people were recognized for their clothes, shoes, etiquette, background etc. But today the first impression of a person is inferred from his education. No matter if you do not belong to a royal family, you can always earn a name by educating yourself well. Education is one of the most important things you need to acquire in life. It decides where you stand in life. Education gets you many things in life which probably other things can’t. There are many reasons for which an individual is expected to be educated. Out of those many reasons we are listing here the top ten reasons why education is important:
10. Bragging rights
This is one of the ‘unmentioned’ reasons education is important. You can see everywhere; there must be someone in your family who keeps on bragging about his/her son/daughter’s high education and the name and fame they have got because of it. Education not only benefits you but your whole family as well. It gives your family bragging rights, they can brag about you in the extended family on your success. This reason is not mentioned everywhere but this is true and you know it well. So, education is also important to shut up the neighborhood ‘bragging aunt’.
9. Be the perfect match
Don’t take it easy. Finding the girl/boy of your dreams is not that easy. If you have...
...Benefits of Education
The education system of America has faced severe scrutiny. There have been many who have claimed that the schools of today are nothing but a waste of time and harmful towards youths independence and creativity. They believe that our education system is in need of serious reform and they are wrong. The outspoken, spoiled citizens are giving our nations education system a bad name. It is the very educational system they are scrutinizing, that gave them the resources to formulate such ideas! Where would this nation be without public education? In a dark, chaotic place where no new knowledge is obtainable. Even learning the basics of reading, writing, and arithmatic would require an ungodly amount of effort. Our education system is doing a great job of teaching our nations youth, and anyone who argues otherwise is not grateful for this gift America gives.
Recall what you have learned since starting school, now imagine your life without that. Do you suppose that you would have naturally acquired such information? Daniel Quinn theorizes yes, that all knowledge obtained through school could just as easily be learned from imitation. I couldn’t disagree more. Take reading for example, there are millions of people today, in this country, who are illiterate. Imagine how that number would grow if there were no schools to guide students along the pursuit of...

Science 1 in the Early Years
Assessment: Item 1- Views of teaching and promoting science of young learners
The pedagogy of play can be hard to understand and part of the reason for this is it’s so difficult to explain how children learn by play because play isn’t simply; it is complex. Each child begins their early childhood education with a set of skills and prior knowledge that is influenced by their family, culture and past experiences (Fellows &Oakley, 2010). The past knowledge should become the foundation for developing an understanding of scientific concepts (Duschl, Schweingruber & Shouse, 2007). Children are naturally inquisitive, creative and aware of the world around them (Campbell & Jobling, 2012). Play is an important development tool and an effective way to teach children scientific concepts while using their prior knowledge (Preston, Mules, Baker & Frost, 2007). Learning science through play shows children that science is useful and enjoyable and is a significant aspect of the real world (Bulunuz, 2013). This essay will review teaching science through play, theorists who support play and the way in which the Australian curriculum and EYLF support play pedagogy.
Science and Play
Play pedagogy is a context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they engage actively with people, objects and representations. Research shows...

Benefits of Physical Education in Elementary and Early Childhood Settings
The need for quality physical education in elementary schools is an important needed foundation for young children to maintain a future healthy lifestyle. The benefits of having physical education in elementary schools are endless. For example, physical education helps fight childhood obesity, lower the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes, and promote active children to be active adults. However, the rhetoric surrounding physical education in these schools are overbearing and making it hard for law makers, and school administrators to provide the maximum physical education needed for students to strive and nurture in. The opposition to having quality physical education base their arguments on budget constraints, family and home environment, teaching methods, and assessments, and so on. I plan to address each issue and provide data and evidence as to why we should promote and acknowledge the importance of having physical education in elementary schools, along with an action plan to provide physical education into my classroom...
Online learning is a relatively new process that enables people to obtain a college degree. New technology has opened the doors to obtaining a college degree through online education programs. Obtaining a degree through an online education program is an alternative option to the traditional educational environment. The online learning environment is allowing more people throughout the world, a new opportunity to obtain a college degree, when they otherwise would not be able to through a traditional college environment. Without the introduction of the online learning environment, many individuals would be limited to traditional education, and in some cases would not be able to obtain a college degree. In addition to offering the option to attend school in an online environment, the programs have expanded. Since the introduction of the online learning environment, the programs have become more available and offer more options for students. There are many different online educational degrees and programs to choose from, and there are many different schools that will have programs which are considered unique to that school. Although online education has become increasingly popular, not all traditional schools offer online education. When considering online...

Benefits of Required Music Education
According to “College Bound Seniors National Report: Profile of SAT Program Test Takers,” “Students in music appreciation classes scored 63 points higher on verbal and 44 points higher on math than students with no arts participation.” Music programs are being cut and underfunded even though these programs should be the first to be funded; they provide a magnitude of benefits. Music should be taught progressively just like English or social studies. The music class would start out as it does in most music classes in elementary school, going through the basic history and learning how to play the recorder. Then, in middle school, it would gradually become more complex and include knowledge of music history, basic music theory, and basic instrument skills. In high school, the class would branch out to include intermediate music theory and instrument skills. Music should be required in all grades because it benefits the student learning process.
According to the Music Educators National Conference of 1991, “Music can make a significant contribution to all of education in terms of student benefits by enhancing key developmental goals such as self-esteem and creativity” (Eady and Wilson “The Influence” 243). The importance of music education has been debated, mostly in the past...

In today’s society, the value of an education has taken a whole new meaning. Many have been done on the subject and in each study the good far outweigh the bad when it comes to furthering ones education. A long time ago one could grow by with taking a few courses in a specialized area and climb up the ladder by way of on-the-job experience. In the past, many years of service made one untouchable, but that does not hold true today. In the new millennium, the computer technology industries seem to be overpowering the workplace. In fact, most businesses and practically government agencies require at least a bachelor’s degree for an entry- level position. To keep up with technology and these changing times the need for a higher education is much higher in demand.
The cost of college tuition continues to rise, and as a result of this inflation students began to ask themselves whether it is worth spending four years or more working toward a degree when the same time could be spent earning money. Though the earnings differential between college and high school graduates varies over time, college
