Text Preview Arizona Immigration law
The new Arizona law requires immigrants to carry their alien registration documents at all times and requires police to question people if there is reason to suspect they are in the United States illegally. My opinion on the Arizona immigration law is that it’s not a very good idea, because I believe it will bring about a lot of issues in the world. It could also be a good thing too. When things like this come about I think people should look at it through all points of view. I really don’t know too much about what’s been going on with immigration in the world. But at the same time I also don’t understand as to why this law has come about. News headlines states that the bill will help the police in cracking down on violent offenders who cross the border illegally. Im not so sure it will but at the same time who is to say that it wont help. Im always up for change or for at least trying it out first and if it doesn’t seem to change things after a while. Then I think then some changes should be made to it to make it better. The U.S. Constitution does say that the federal government have the responsibility to protect the states against invasion. I’ve also seen where other critics and citizens are saying that If Arizona would be more strict about employing these illegal immigrants then we would have less of them trying so hard to get across the border. Because If they were not able to come here and work then they would have no reason to cross the border. This alone would make a huge difference in the number of illegal immigrants trying to cross the border. And possibly this law would never have came about. But as off right now I think everyone should just try it out for a little while within the next six months to a year nothing has change the law should be revised. Show More
