LOVE: Is the strongest force in the universe. It is something that is difficult to Describe in words but not in deeds. It cannot be weighed or measured, yet it is that which binds every living thing to every other living thing. We say that pure love is Allah made manifest. TRUTH: Is the opposite of falsehood and cannot change or pass away. Truth never had a beginning, therefore it can have no ending. In a general sense, truth is Allah. Truth always was, is, and forever more will be. PEACE: According to islam is mans goal in life. Peace with everything, peace with Allah and peace with man. Peace is a state in which one finds in ones own self, and that is to know yourself. And not only to know yourself, but to be able to control ones own higher and lower self. When one is able to accomplish this then one will have peace within him or her self. FREEDOM: Is ones will to choose. If one has harness threw Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice, then one will gain freedom within ones own self. And one will be able to live in harmony with ones own higher and lower self. JUSTICE: We say, is the reward or punishment regarding ones conduct according to the laws and principles of this said government. In a universal sense, justice will take it's course. therefore, love is the key. Justice is the lock. Islam is the law and justice it stands on, and the law is the law, and the law must live.

The concepts of war are:
1. Always listen before you talk, look before you walk, and observe before you stalk. 2. In war, you must follow the commands of the higher rank, who is designated such because they are more, if not, better informed than you. 3. Never make important decisions while angry, because an intemperate nature can cause one to run into a brick wall. Allow time to rationalize. 4. What is pain to a warrior is but a privilege, pain, and handling pain are measures of a warrior, for to know victory is to know defeat. 5. The injuries that you inflict upon the enemy should be considered such a vicious act of terrorism, that the damage inflicted causes the enemy to never consider revenge.6. Never allow the enemy to live in ;your midst, because one day he may rise up to repay you for the mistake.7. One must be a fox to recognize a trap, and a lion to fight and intimidate the enemy.8. The best defense is often times a good offense.9. There is no greater sin in war than ignorance.10. War has no room for diplomacy, war is outright vicious.11. Beware those around you who shout out the most, yet find time to talk during conflict. These individuals will reason with enemy.12. In war, strive for rendering the enemy harmless, disrupting the...

...In the poem ‘A Contemplation of Flowers’ written by Henry King and ‘Once Upon A Time’ written by Gabriel Okara, both speak of and expresses regret by the persona in the way he had lived his life. Both personas illustrate how they wished that their situation would have been different by expressing their desires in poetic devices such as rhyme, alliteration, reputation, etc, etc.
In ‘A Contemplation of Flowers,’ the poet speaks about a man who has an admiration for flowers. The persona is marvelled at the life of a flower and in this poem he compares it to his own life. Within the entire poem the persona focuses on the characteristics of flowers. From this description given, it shows that he wishes he could be more like the flower. In each stanza, phrases are highlighted to show how he wished that his life had a marked resemblance to that of a flower. For example, in stanza two, the persona “Would have it ever Spring: My fate would know no Winter, never die, Nor think of such a thing.” He would rather the flowers always flourish (spring), likewise he wished that he himself would always live and never die like the flowers do during the winter season. “O that I could my bed of earth but view and smile, and look as cheerfully as you!” is also another evidence from the poem where he wishes he could go to the earth (his grave), and look as cheerful, and smile, as the flowers do when they go to their earth (die). The second stanza essentially shows that the speaker learns to...
... The United States has steadily enacted laws to help combat discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, and sex. Other regulations have been passed to help those with disabilities and those who may have a temporary medical issue to resolve. Some of these regulations include the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act 1967, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. These laws were all passed to improve equality in the workplace and promote workplace diversity. Since all employers were not treating their employees fairly, the government stepped in to help ensure inequality within the workplace becomes a rare occurrence.
Family Medical Leave Act of 1993
The Family Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) has provisions outlining the rights of workers in situations where a family member has a serious illness and needs care, the worker becomes seriously ill for a prolonged period of time, and if a baby is born. If an employee has worked at a company employing fifty or more people within seventy-five miles for at least twelve months and worked a minimum of one thousand two hundred fifty hours, they are eligible for a leave of absence under the terms of the FMLA. The FMLA also requires employers to maintain an employee’s group health benefits during leave and ensure the employee returns to their same job with the same pay or an equivalent job with equivalent pay. The FMLA pertains to Situation “A” because the employee’s...
...It has been said that women have never achieved full equality with men. To what extent are Churchill’s characters ‘Top Girls’ in act one
Many roles of women in society have been limited. There are very clear expectations of men and women, the men are the breadwinners and women are only to be housewives and mothers. Women through the ages have had to deal with a male dominated society. Men believed that women always needed support and someone to look after them. Women have been portrayed as being the weaker sex, physically and emotionally, so women would be unable to cope with the daily issues that a man faces. Therefore a woman would not be able to have the same profession or rights as a man. Even though women were usually highly educated and were able to look after themselves, women’s roles in society have been and in some cases still are limited.
Feminist plays often concentrate on the psychological social, cultural and educational roles of women. Feminist playwright Caryl Churchill is known for her non-naturalistic techniques and feminist themes. Churchill’s play ‘Top Girls’ looks at the many issues that women have to deal with on a daily basis, in an attempt to gain equality with men, and more importantly, to gain acceptance in society. She concentrates on this so that her audience could question the roles, stereotypes and issues that are dealt with everyday, like: violence and political and sexual oppression. This play highlights these challenges that women have...
The world can be perceived in a number of ways and no one man or woman has the same perception of the world. This difference can be expressed through the writing of two Native Americans, N.S Momaday and D. Brown. Both of the writers use diction, imagery, and tone. However, they used them completely differently and conveyed different descriptions from two completely similar landscapes.
Diction is the choice and use of words and phrases in speech or writing. Both writers were able to use diction effectively to show their different perceptions. “To look upon that landscape in the early morning, with the sun at your back, is to lose the sense of proportion. Your imagination comes to life, and this, you think is where Creation was begun.” Momdays diction is very descriptive and passionate showing a love and appreciation for the land. Conversely, Browns passage contained less detail which made his landscape seem less detailed and less important. “The herds were gone, replaced by an endless desolation of bones and skulls and rotting hooves… Many had to return to their reservation to keep from starving.” The words Brown uses give the readers a sense of the desolate and worthless land that he is creating with his words.
Imagery is visually descriptive or figurative language. “There are green belts along the rivers and creeks.” The greater detail in Momaday’s passage gives the audience a visual image that helps create of sense of beauty....
An allegory is a symbolism device where the meaning of a greater, often abstract, concept is conveyed with the aid of a more corporeal object or idea being used as an example.
Alliteration is a literary device where words are used in quick succession and begin with letters belonging to the same sound group. Whether it is the consonant sound or a specific vowel group, the alliteration involves creating a repetition of similar sounds in the sentence. Alliterations are also created when the words all begin with the same letter.
An allusion is a figure of speech whereby the author refers to a subject matter such as a place, event, or literary work by way of a passing reference. It is up to the reader to make a connection to the subject being mentioned.
Amplification refers to a literary practice wherein the writer embellishes the sentence by adding more information to it in order to increase its worth and understandability. When a plain sentence is too abrupt and fails to convey the full implications desired, amplification comes into play when the writer adds more to the structure to give it more meaning.
Anagrams are an extremely popular form of literary device wherein the writer jumbles up parts of the word to create a new word. From the syllables of a phrase to the individual letters of a word, any fraction can be jumbled to create a new form. Anagram is a form of wordplay that allows the writer to infuse mystery and a...

...According to Yahoo Philippines Country Sales Director, Arlene Amarante
“The online advertising industry here in the Philippines is in a state of rapid growth. While there is still much evangelization to do, the market players – both advertisers and advertising agencies – are now asking the more relevant questions unlike 3 years ago. They now start to ask: How do we start? How do I integrate online with my existing campaign? Can it work for a brand or industry like mine? How do I measure my success? These questions tell us that it is no longer about why advertisers should be online; it is about maximizing their advertising dollars and using online the right way. And, while online is still at a 26% penetration level, we see that the landscape is further paving the way for increased and rapid exponential growth – new broadband products, increased broadband penetration, rise of internet mobile, rise of smart phones and the proliferation of low-priced PCs. Consumer behavior support the phenomenon. They are no longer dictated by traditional media alone; they immediately search for brands prior to a purchase. They are no longer looking for yesterdays’ news; they want to know what’s happening now. They are no longer waiting for brands to come and communicate to them; they are starting the conversations. Online advertising is now a powerful force that no one can no longer...
