3.04-Free from Fear:
Has the idea of "freedom from fear" changed over time?
From "The Four Freedoms" by Franklin D Roosevelt in 1941 to the Welcoming Remarks President Obama gave Prime Minister Cameron of the United Kingdom which took place in present day, the "freedom from fear" is still the same. President Obama has the same belief as Roosevelt that everyone everywhere should be able to live free from fear and not have to live in fear.
In "The Four Freedoms" Roosevelt talks a world-wide "freedom from fear." He believes everyone everywhere should have four equal rights, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want-which, and freedom from fear. He says, "That is no vision of a distant millennium. It is a definite basis for a kind of world attainable in our own time and generation.." Roosevelt thinks that it is possible for everyone to get those four basic rights with the right amount of work for them. At the end of his speech he says, "This nation has placed its destiny in the hands and heads and hearts of its million of free men and women; and its faith in freedom under the guidance of God. Freedom means the supremacy of human rights everywhere. Our support goes to those who struggle to gain those rights and keep them. Our strength is our unity of peace." He wants everyone to have freedom and will support anyone that fights for it.
In President Obama's welcoming remarks to Prime Minister, Obama talks about being free from fear with opportunities and advancing developments, as well as working and building together. Obama says, "We stand together and we work together and we bleed together and we build together in good times and in bad.." When America works together we become more prosperous and do not have to fear. At the end of talking to the Prime Minister Obama said, " We will stand united in advancing the developments that lift people and nations out of poverty-the new crops that feed a village, the care that saves a mother in...

...Farhan Qureshi (R. Madhavan), Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi), and Rancchoddas "Rancho" Shyamaldas Chanchad (Aamir Khan) are students at the Imperial College of Engineering, one of the best colleges in India. They are room-mates in the college's hostel. While Farhan and Raju are average students from modest backgrounds, Rancho is from a rich family. Farhan wants to become a wildlife photographer, but is pursuing an engineering degree to fulfil his father's wish. Raju, on the other hand, needs to improve his family's financial situation. Rancho is a wealthy genius who studies for the sheer joy of it. His passion is for knowledge and taking apart and building machines rather than the conventional obsession of the other students with exam ranks. With his different approach Rancho incurs the wrath of college's dean, Professor Viru Sahastrabudhhe aka ViruS (Boman Irani). Rancho irritates his lecturers by giving creative and unorthodox answers, and confronts ViruS after fellow student Joy Lobo hangs himself in his dormitory room. Rancho denounces the rat race, dog-eat-dog, mindless rote learning mentality of the institution, blaming it for Lobo's death.
Threatened by Rancho's talent and free spirit, ViruS labels him an "idiot" and attempts, on a number of occasions, to destroy his friendship with Farhan and Raju, warning them and their parents to steer clear of Rancho. ViruS's model student is Chatur Ramalingam or "Silencer", (Omi Vaidya) who sees a high rank at a prestigious...
Farhan Qureshi (R. Madhavan), Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi) and Ranchhordas Shyamaldas Chanchad (Aamir Khan) are three students who share a room in the residence of the fictional Imperial College of Engineering (ICE). Farhan is studying engineering to pursue his father's wishes, over his own passion for wildlife photography. Raju is studying to get his family out of poverty. On the other hand, Ranchho studies for his simple passion in machines. Rancho believes that one should follow excellence, not success, as success will take care of itself if excellence is followed.
However, this different approach is sneered upon by the college director, Dr. Viru "Virus" Sahastrabuddhe (Boman Irani). Virus's favourite student, Chatur Ramalingam (Omi Vaidya), known by the ICE community as "Silencer", believes in mindless memorizing over understanding in order to reach his goals of corporate status. Raju, who is initially annoyed by Rancho's methods, moves in with Chatur, where he fares worse. In order to impress Virus on Teachers' Day, Chatur, with the help of the college librarian, Dubey, writes a speech in pure Hindi which he will memorize to deliver on stage. Rancho decides to teach him a lesson and provide Raju with an example. Chatur, due his lack of knowledge in Hindi, mindlessly memorizes the paper, of which Rancho had secretly changed a few words (e.g. "chamatkaar" (miracle) was changed to "balatkaar" (rape))....

As we know, helium is a lightweight and non-radioactive isotope of helium with two
protons and one neutron. Also it sometimes called ‘tralphium’. According to many experts,
helium-3 can be a clean nuclear power. There are many benefits of helium-3 but the most
important problem is that there is very little helium-3 available on the Earth. First of all, I will
give general some information about helium-3 isotope.
Name, symbol | Helium-3, 3He, He-3,3He |
Neutrons | 1 |
Protons | 2 |
Helium-3 is sought for use in nuclear fusion. As we know, all nuclear power plants use a
nuclear reaction to produce heat. This is used to turn water into steam that then drives a
turbine to produce electricity. Current nuclear power plants have nuclear fission reactors in
which uranium nuclei are split part. This releases energy, but also radioactivity and spent
nuclear fuel that is reprocessed into uranium, plutonium and radioactive waste which has to be
safety stored, effectively indefinitely....

Video game consoles have continued to dominate the youth market not only in the United States but overseas as well. With three primary focuses, Playstation, Xbox and the Wii, game consoles have invaded households worldwide. Although Microsoft’s Xbox is has enjoyed owning the the market share as the top dog for the last several years with its first and second generation platforms, Sony’s Playstation 4 has seen record sales across the United States and Canada and over the last quarter has taken the lead with its next generation console, selling its five millionth console as of February 18, 2014, according to Richi Jennings of ComputerWorld magazine. With news that gaming consoles are in high demand, the development of next generation games is important to keep up with the supply and demand of fantastic games. This is why my choice product is a sim-game which markets to both China and India called, “The Early Empire.”
Simulation games (sim-game) focus on the management and development of environments rather than a character. The sim-game brings to life the ability for the gamer to become apart of the game. With “The Early Empire,” our marketing strategy would be to appeal to the youths of both China and India with a concentration to the historical history of their country.
By putting the youth in charge of their country and running their...

The main cast of the movie were Ranchhoddas ( Aamir Khan) who was studying for his passion in engineering and made significant contribution to his friends and other people in engineering field. In the movie, this important person- Ranchhoddas, tries to present the importance of teaching instead of simple simply memoring the books. For instance, memorizing a definition without understanding just to pass the exams is of no value especially in the long-run. Moreover, he had a strong desire for studying about machines. He believes that one should follow excellence, not success, as success will take care of itself if excellence is...
